Hi!
My name is Randy. I am a lure fishing nut and a sucker for quality fishing tackles. Not that quality fishing tackle will make me a better fisherman or catch more fish, I enjoy using fine tackles. Over the years I have accumulated vast experience using all kinds of fishing tackle and fishing in many parts of the world. I am glad to be able to use these experiences to procure quality products and sound advices to our customers. In 2005 I opened the first store in United States that specialized in Jigging and Popping tackle - Anglers Pro Shop. Back then, it was a one man show operating from a small office in a pet shop in Ontario, CA. I was involved in ordering, stocking, packing, customer service, organizing fishing trips for customers, building rods etc etc, it was hectic but fun. Till today I still have customers from when we first opened and many of these customers have become good friends. This is what we looked like when we first opened:
In 2007 a business partner introduced into Anglers Pro Shop and so we moved to New York and formed Anglers Pro Shop Inc.:
Unfortunately, things did not work out and so we parted ways...
Today, JDM Tackle Inc. is the forerunner in providing top quality Japanese tackle, we source directly from manufacturers whenever possible to offer the best price to our customers. We are no longer just a jigging and popping pro shop, we have expanded to fresh water tackles for Bass, Trouts etc, a true Lure Fishing Pro Shop!
