Rod Warranty
You are buying a high quality and performance rod, please note that these rods will break if not taken care of, used over the recommended specifications or abused. While we can guarantee the quality and performance of the rod, we cannot be responsible for the well-being of the rod.
All of our rods are either imported from manufacturers in Japan/overseas or sourced from a wholesaler, as such, warranty differs from brand to brand:

JDM Warranty - Smith, Zenaq, Temple Reef, Xzoga
- Factory Warranty - All other brands
JDM Warranty Policy - Rods sold with JDM Warranty are covered for a period of 2 years against defects in workmanship and materials for the original owner. Sales receipt or proof of purchase required.
Damages occurred due to defect will either be repaired or replaced, at JDM Tackle’s discretion, at no charge. JDM Tackle will also be responsible for all shipping cost for such instances.
If the rod is to be replaced and is no longer available ie; brand no longer exist or we stopped carrying the specific brand/model, JDM Tackle will offer to replace it with a rod of similar price range. You may also choose a rod that cost more by topping up the difference.
Damages due to neglect, accident, misuse, abuse or normal wear and tear will be replaced for a specific fee, at the JDM Tackle's discretion. A full estimate will be provided for your approval before any repair work is initiated. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping and handling cost for such instances.
Factory Warranty - Warranty claims will have to be made directly to the manufacturer in Japan. Unfortunately we cannot assist in warranty claims for these brands
In no event shall JDM Tackle Inc. be held liable for incidental or consequential damages due to breach of this warranty or other warranties implied by law.
Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts nor do they allow for exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above stipulated limitation and/or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
